If the player collects the Talisman in the Sky Cemetery before defeating Yari, they will appear by the exit of the room, before leaping away.

Abilities

Yari enters their second phase at 3/4 health instead of half.

Yari has three attacks in their first phase.

Spear Lunge: Yari holds their spear behind them, then lunges forward. In their second phase, they lunge further.

• This move can be countered, just before the lunge.

Upwards Spear Thrust: Yari holds their spear upward and thrusts directly up. They only use this move if the player is above them.

Thousand Thrusts: Yari holds their spear above their head, pointing it forward and down, while crouching. They then move forward with a wave of thrusts, until the player is behind them. In their second phase, there is less starting lag.

• This attack has a long counter time after the wave of thrusts is past.
• The attack part of the attack is canceled if the player is behind Yari when they finish their starting animation, leaving them counterable.

In their second phase, Yari gains another attack.

Windmill Strike: Yari spins in the air, sweeping their spear down in front of them, covering a large area.

• This attack can be countered, right before the strike.
