Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade items elevates an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item upgrading with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved level of the item upgrader kit. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
