An intro paragraph is a crucial part of any essay. It introduces the topic, question or issue that your essay will tackle and explains your position.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can be used to add an additional benefit or impact while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as rewards, or made using crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects, in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.
Infusions, inscriptions and enhancements are all types of upgrade component. They aren't generally accessible for general use, and they can only be applied to ascending equipment or certain non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. You can retrieve infusions or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from your equipment using an Extractor Device or by salvaging them using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage Tool.
In contrast to other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and they can be reused after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to boost weapon and armor quality, without spending Dilithium. They can double the chance that the item will be upgraded to a top quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or more can be upgraded with upgrade components incorporated into them. If you add an upgrade to a weapon already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade the item will be named as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor creates Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can have up to three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a fantastic addition to any product. They provide unique advantages and boosts. Some glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, thereby increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs can be obtained through dungeons, and some can even drop in certain World Tier 3 areas. It's important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character that has not created an dungeon with a root with the same depth.
To make use of a Glyph you first have to create it using components and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag the element near an element highlighted to lock it in place.
Certain glyphs have requirements to fulfill, for example having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some glyphs require a specific number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can also be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are available for various items, and can be added to all weapons, with the exception for the weapons of a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional requirements, like an amount of Dexterity damage, or Attack damage for a specific part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph gives you the chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity of 15% to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs can also be applied to restricted use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. They are especially useful for classes with a range, such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that are used to reroll the results that are rolled when performing an Action. They are removed after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens are obtained in a variety of ways, such as through the dungeons, raids, and skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are particularly beneficial in dungeons or trials, since they allow players to reroll rewards from the end of the chest.
For items at the level 1 there are values for recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain amount of points when you recycle an item. This value is based on both the item upgrader mod's rarity and level. In addition, the upgraded item will not keep its level when it is rerolled, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item upgrading increases depending on its level.
Alternately, players can use reroll tokens in order to reroll an upgrade item however, this won't bring the item back to its original level or provide the original statistics. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment that they don't like but still want to keep in their collection.
Three types of upgrade coins are available in the game: Reroll, randomly generated and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each requires an item upgrade of the level of its respective to make an item of that quality.
To use tokens that reroll, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select a type of token. The tokens that are available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The use of an Item token will result in the creation of a new Item of any kind. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.
The item could also be upgraded to a different item that has the same stats but a higher level. This is likely to happen if the item has been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool or if it was transferred there as part of a franchise card.
