Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for one similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item upgrading will receive an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be used and an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an Best item upgrade reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once an best item Upgrade is on an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item upgrader mod differ based on the kind of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased quality of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
