Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tried.
This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the highest robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well throughout the house. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is continuously dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. Like all Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps this robot make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
