Some models are better at removing pet hair from rugs than others, which is why it's also important to choose a robot that can effectively and efficiently clean all types of flooring. Look for a model with a dustbin that is able to hold plenty of dirt between emptyings and a nozzle that doesn't lose suction as it rotates to remove debris.

Its LIDAR navigation works well as well. It prevents hitting furniture or running over power cables.
It's a little slow on the stairs, but that's to be expected from a compact robot designed to work around obstacles. The only drawback is its mopping pad attachment that was difficult to use and wouldn't stay in its place during our tests. It also has a problem dealing with dust that has dried on and dust, which makes it more like a vacuum than a robot cleaner commercial mop.
It's still a great choice for people who prefer a hands-off experience and want to clean low-pile or plain carpets equally. It has a decent amount of suction, which allowed it to pick up fine dust and pet hair from carpets. A good feature is its automatic carpet recognition which enhances the effectiveness of the vacuuming to take on dirt that is embedded. It's also simple to use and has a handy charging dock that automatically empties the dust bin when it's filled, which is a huge benefit for flat dwellers.
