Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Choose models that allow users to select between different modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best robotic mop and vacuum models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station if needed.
This robot combo is easy to setup and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary within the application). Mopping capabilities are very good with a pair of spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot vacuum cleaners reviews vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can go from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin over obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris but they can't reach every speck of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot vacuums that mop that both vacuums and mop, is made to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. This device also collects dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
