Shin is the protagonist and player character in Ato.
Bio
Shin used to be a daycare worker but after quitting his job he now is a homeless, unemployed single father, widower-by-his-own-hand just trying to make it in this harsh feudal kitty world. Actually he probably just started squatting in Monk's house after murdering him. As one does. I mean housing prices are going up, he's got a child and no job, gotta make ends meet somehow. Moral of the story: don't quit your job. Keep working for the corporate company corporations or this could be you.

Trivia
Shin hides his face during the final fight of the game. Also, pressing down during that fight will have Shin put his hand on his sword instead of sitting on the ground.
