Sentinel

Location

The far right of the map, by a pond.

The arena is flat, and has reflective water underneath.

Abilities

Sentinel is invisible, and can only be seen by their reflection in the water. Because of this, they cannot be hurt by charge slashes, as there is no lock-on.

Sentinel tends to jump around, being capable of crossing the entire arena in one jump.

Sentinel has two attacks.

Tag Throw: Sentinel holds yellow tags in their back hand, then throws them into the air. They are thrown in a random assortment focused on the player. The tags can be destroyed by attacks. In phase 2, more tags are thrown, and the attack indicator is shorter.

Tag Leap: Sentinel holds a yellow tag in their front hand, then leaps forward, dealing damage to the player if they hit them. In phase 2, in the middle of the leap, they will throw yellow tags similarly to Tag Throw.

Strategy

Tag Leap can be avoided by jumping over Sentinel.

Many of Tag Throw's tags can be destroyed in just a few swings, leaving only random, floating tags. These are generally harmless, but make sure to not jump into them avoiding Tag Leap.

When Sentinel is against the wall, the tell for Tag Throw is partially hidden. Take care in these situations.
