Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuums uk vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are essential for my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've test.
This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot cleaner robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot cleaner vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and automatic vacuum cleaner. However, it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
This device has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
