1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ is a fantastic robot vacuum that comes with several smart features that make it easier to maintain. Its automatic bin emptying is one of the most efficient features we've encountered in a robot and it's compatible with both hard floors and carpets. It's also simple to set up and operate, with the app guiding you through the process step-by-step. Another impressive feature is the ability to go back to where it was when we tested it. It did this for 77 mins on one cleaning before running out of battery.
Unlike some of the other robovacs we evaluated, the i3+ EVO has self-emptying bins that dump debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it's filled. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling by a self-emptying bin. However it still needs to be manually empty at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7, this model also uses the latest floor sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 also has the ability to make use of its map to create no-go zones as well as virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO cannot.
Although the i3+ EVO is superior in removing surface debris than some of the other robovacs we looked at, it's not the best when it comes to cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it moved chairs away. It also made some collisions against the sides of the test bed.

You can manage the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is among the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. That, combined with some other advancements, allows it to do exceptionally well during our mopping and vacuuming tests. You can schedule cleanings or set up no-go zones. You can also see the battery's status. The app is easy to use, however it does not support Apple HomeKit. That feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. As of the beginning of November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to reflect that the feature will be delayed until 2025. Several other robots don't work with HomeKit, but many of them work with Siri Shortcuts.

This model uses an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map out your home and create efficient cleaning routes. The iMop excelled in our navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations, and it was very efficient in avoiding obstacles, including furniture. It also has the ability to locate its way back to the base station, which is a great benefit in the event it is unable to recharge its battery during cleaning.
The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a certain area of your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a particular route. This is ideal for narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test, it performed well cleaning carpets. However, it was unable to clean rugs and carpets with larger piles.
