The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you want for each room.
For example, you can choose to have the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the kitchen and living rooms but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are excellent too as the robot vacuums uk is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only issue it has is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed. However, just a glance at the cleaning history within the app will show you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and the obstacles it's avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks are required including emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time as well, with the mop being capable of operating for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, and the vacuum mop cleaner robot can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. 2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes two cameras that can recognize objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its path automatically and clean around the objects without stumbling.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek, angular design is attractive and it has just three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot vacuum cleaner crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor battery life. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its intelligent design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while reducing time.

It can also get under furniture with low profile, making it an excellent choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush also automatically tilts down when detecting wet spots. This is a nice touch that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by repeated back-andforth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpets and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is intuitive and easy to use and the X40's clever features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see mapping and floor plans and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has numerous features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect when the mop pad is full and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available, but it packs in a lot of additional features that set it apart. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature in its mop, utilizes two mop heads that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and soiled spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is beneficial because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots in this list - at around 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and feels robust and well built. Mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice feature.
