Subjectively, I found that the GP500 was extremely accurate in grayscale OOTB. I observed a DeltaE value of 2.3, which is less than the amount visible to the naked eye. This is quite good. The Dynamic Contrast function was a great help in bringing the depth to Life of Pi's limited night scenes. The color display was fantastic. Avatar was very impressive as well.
GP500 Black
The GP500 has tabs for opening both on the left and right side of the shield. It is Pinlock Max Vision ready. It has an automatic shield lock to prevent it from opening during riding (or in the event of an accident). The rear of the helmet has a double-d-ring fastener that's tool-free.
The auto-focus worked very well and produced clear images with many distinct shades. It did struggle with the darker night scenes in Life of Pi, but it did give a cinematic look.
There aren't any race-related graphics for the GP500 but you can purchase Airoh Sectors, Scrape and Cosmos in the plain black finish. You can also buy it with Rockstar, Drive and Check graphics for a more focused track look.
GP500 White

The GP500 White has a number of features that can enhance the user experience, such as Keystone and Corner Fit. Corner Fit is an image warping feature that is digital. These features can be useful for less-than ideal installations as they make it easier to display a flat image. They do, however, reduce image quality. This is a critical aspect to keep in mind. The GP500 produced very clean and distinct colors, and also provided excellent grayscale performance OOTB.
