Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an application that allows you to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are essential for my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've test to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum and mop mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. If you can afford the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level best automatic vacuum cleaner and mop however it has several impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas mapped by this device or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot vacuums with mop get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
