What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a brand new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
It boosts
There are a myriad of boosts you can get with an upgrader. These can include stats as well as additional bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to enhance the abilities of a character, or they can add an additional aspect of variety to the build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their gear by paying currencies at an item upgrader NPC. This system was first introduced in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to increase the quality of your equipment, allowing you skip the tedious grind of questing and avoiding numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
If an item is upgraded the type of item it is going to change. The upgrade of a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional while upgrading an item that is Exceptional will create an Elite version of the base item. The item will keep its pre-upgrade stats, and will also receive an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus will be randomly chosen from the following: the chance to acquire weapons with a higher damage range, a chance to obtain an increased reload speed or the chance to obtain an increased defense roll.
The number of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you will receive. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by increments of 1, up to a maximum of 3. Each upgrade will also increase the main stats by +1.
In addition to the stat boosts, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These secondary boosts can be very valuable and should be taken into consideration when deciding on which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in certain designs (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) Some are useful to collectors.
Some items have a built-in boos, which is less effective when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra potion slots. They are usually upgraded to inject more value into a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. The cost is based on the new ilvl of the item and the amount of perks it receives, and can be expensive. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item level upgrade to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of materials needed for an upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The quantity of these items required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take as long as 8 hours. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines the updated Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases, an upgrade can grant additional benefits. These perks are offered on a list.
In rare cases the upgrade will only replace the most expensive benefits. The upgrader could also make other modifications to the item, such as changing its weapon damage type, or adding or eliminating an operational or unwieldy feature. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl, and may require special materials, for instance the adamantine.
Success Rate
Best item Upgrader upgrades are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't succeed. However there are a few things that can increase the chances of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity or adding additional materials to your upgrade items.
The Upgrade Pity is available through the NPC for smithing in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items provide however it is more solid. This can be added to any weapons or armor and can be used three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is displayed just above the + button in the UI.
Another way to increase the odds of a successful upgrade is by using an item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item upgrader mod is useful if you have a weapon or piece of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be returned to its original condition. This is usually an error, but it could also be a downgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade when you're close to the maximum level of an item, and to use it as an option last resort.
There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the chances of an upgrade succeeding. For example upgrading an equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you an increased chance of success. The success rate will also be increased if you increase your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for items allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enchantment or upgrade an item. It is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item upgrader kit will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and enhanced. The higher the rank, the more zeny and items you'll require to upgrade it.
This system is costly, especially if you are looking for top-quality gear. Upgrades to armor and weapons can cost as much as 100,000 Z or 100 Carnium. As you progress in rank, your chance of success decreases. However, you can use cash shop items to increase your chances of upgrading your item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be performed on weapons, armor pieces and bikes. It requires different grades of core, dependent on the kind of item. In general, items with lower grades will require cores of lower quality and higher-end items will require more expensive ones.
You must have the right number of cores in order to do an upgrade. Once you have them then click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade. The upgrade window will then display a percent indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is determined by the upgrade level of the item and the type you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard for your item, which will protect the item in case of failure. The safeguard is not free however the cost will be less than the cost of a new Best item upgrader. The safeguard can be used once each upgrade, and it will not expire unless it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader could be confusing, but it's not difficult to navigate. The main menu appears on the left side and the upgrade window appears on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI represent the different stages of the upgrade process. If you're not certain what you're doing, hit the question mark to seek help. The upgrade process can take up to five minutes.
