The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to avoid it.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the top available - but it's also pricey.
Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've used that has done an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.
If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with more features like stairs, a fully-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping capabilities at an affordable price.
