Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
