What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to view and purchase upgrades.
Boosters
There are a myriad of enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. These could include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons, armor, and trinkets. They can be used to improve the capabilities of a character, or they can be used to add an aspect of variety to a build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their equipment by spending currency at an item upgrader NPC. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a good way to increase the level of your equipment, allowing you to bypass the monotonous grind of questing and avoiding a bunch of wipes in Mythicand dungeons.
If an item is upgraded the type of item it is going to change. Upgrading a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional and upgrading an item that is Exceptional will create an Elite version of the base item. The item will keep all of its prior upgrade statistics, but will also gain an additional benefit from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly chosen from the following categories: the chance to acquire weapons with a greater damage range or an enhanced reload speed or a chance to acquire an improved defense roll.
The amount of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you get. Each upgrade will increase the extras by up to 3 points. In addition, each upgrade will also boost the main stat by +1.
In addition to the stat increase, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be extremely valuable and should be taken into consideration when deciding which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are only suitable for specific builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others can bring a great deal of value to certain collectors.
Some items have a built-in boos which is less useful when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap has an extra slots for potion. They are usually upgraded to inject more value into a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
There are some costs related to upgrades of items. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.
The second is the price of the materials needed for an upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The quantity of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
Upgrading an item is an intricate process that requires time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the updated Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are offered on a list.
Rarely, the perks obtained will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these cases the upgrade will replace the perks with the highest cost. Sometimes, the upgrader may make other adjustments to an item, for example, changing the type of weapon damage or removing or adding an unwieldy or operative property. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, like Adamantine.
Success Rate
The upgrade of an item is based on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. However there are a few factors which can improve the chance of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity is available from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more solid. This can be added to any weapons or armor and can be used three times.
It is also possible to add a variety of additional items to the upgrade, thereby increasing the chance of success. These are shown in a window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is displayed just above the + button in the UI.
Another way to increase the chance of a successful upgrade is to use the item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item can be helpful in the event that your item or weapon is near or has reached the highest level of its tier. This item upgrader kit will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful, it will be reverted to its original state. This is often a downgrade, but can also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade when you're near the maximum capacity of an item, and then use it as a last resort.
Kafra has a range of items that can be used in order to increase the likelihood of a successful upgrade. For example upgrading an equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you a higher chance of success. The chance of success will be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for an item allows players to add a second card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enchantment or upgrade an item. However, it is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rate of upgrade and enchantment depends on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.
